Tenured Cardiologist Opens Private Practice in Camp Hill, Pa and Newport, Pa.
Camp Hill, Pa. – Dr. Venketesh Nadar, MD, FACC, is pleased to announce the opening of Capital Area Cardiovascular Associates, an independent private cardiology practice in Camp Hill, Pa. with an additional location in Newport, Pa.
Dr. Venkatesh Nadar has been practicing medicine for more than 20 years as a cardiovascular disease specialist. After seeing his patients become frustrated with the current healthcare framework, Dr. Nadar opened Capital Area Cardiovascular Associates.
“Over the last 20 years, wait times to see a cardiologist within a large medical system have become barriers for patients to receive much needed medical and cardiovascular services. With our new private practice, we will be able to see patients quickly for both consultations and procedures, with wait times as little as two weeks for consultations. Our practice also has the flexibility to see urgent consults on the same day. No patient with a health condition should have to wait months for proper medical treatment,” says Dr. Nadar. “In addition, our private practice will address the inflated costs with cardiovascular care with services priced fairly,” adds Dr. Nadar.
Dr. Nadar is double-board certified and receives top scores for compassion and timeliness based on patient reviews and feedback. He graduated from Madreas Medical College in 1985, completed his residency at Marshall University Affiliated Hospitals in 1990, and completed a cardiovascular fellowship also at Marshall University Affiliated Hospitals in 1993.
In addition to his work as a clinical practitioner, Dr. Nadar has been and is currently the Principal Investigator at Capital Area Research for more than 20 years. Overseeing a team of sub-investigators and research staff, he leads clinical research trials focused on cardiac medicine and devices.
Dr. Nadar is joined by Dr. Stanley Lewin, MD, FACC at Capital Area Cardiovascular Associates. Dr. Lewin is a cardiology specialist who has been practicing for more than 40 years. He specializes in cardiac disease diagnosis and treatment plans including congenital heart defects, coronary artery disease, heart rhythm disorders, and heart failure. Dr. Lewin graduated from the University of Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, completed his residency at the University of New York at Buffalo in 1976, and finished with a cardiology fellowship at the University of Michigan in 1978.
